Welcome!
I'm so glad you're here.
People often ask how I became a photographer, but the truth is, I don't remember a time when photography wasn't part of my life.
Growing up, there was always a camera nearby. My dad founded Leppert Photography in 1972, and photography was simply part of our everyday life. Those early experiences sparked a passion that has shaped my life ever since.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from The Ohio State University and continue to study with some of the industry's most respected photographers. Even after more than 30 years behind the camera, I believe there's always something new to learn.
While photography trends come and go, my goal has never changed: to create timeless photographs that will be just as meaningful decades from now as they are today.
Beautiful photographs begin with genuine connection. I've said this throughout my entire career
The more comfortable you are with me, the less aware you are of me—and that's when the most meaningful moments naturally unfold.
That's why I spend time getting to know every client before I ever pick up my camera.
When you're relaxed, you stop thinking about the camera. You're simply enjoying the people you love, and those genuine moments become the photographs you'll treasure forever.
Creating an exceptional experience is just as important to me as creating beautiful photographs. My hope is that you'll feel like you're spending the day with a trusted friend who just happens to have a camera.
A CALM PRESENCE
One of the compliments that means the most to me came after the ceremony.
“You brought such a warm, calming presence, and everyone felt completely at ease with you — which is a gift on a day filled with so much emotion and attention.”
— Paige G.
I smile every time I read this because it captures exactly what I hope every couple feels: comfortable, cared for, and fully present.
Years of experience have taught me when to gently guide a moment and when to quietly step into the background. The most meaningful photographs often happen naturally, when no one realizes they’re being photographed.
That’s how I want your wedding day to feel: relaxed, joyful, and completely yours.
As I look back now, I realize what a gift it was to grow up in a family where preserving memories was simply part of everyday life. Today, it's a privilege to carry that legacy forward and help other families preserve the moments they'll treasure for generations.
PHOTOGRAPHING LIFE'S MILESTONES
Although weddings will always hold a special place in my heart, I love photographing people through every stage of life.
From growing families and high school seniors to business professionals, school portraits, sports teams, and community events, every session is another opportunity to preserve memories that matter.
One of the greatest joys of my career is welcoming clients back through the years as their families and lives continue to grow.
My Team
One of the greatest blessings of my career has been the people I've had the opportunity to work alongside.
One member of my team has been with me for more than 25 years, and together we share the same commitment to creating a relaxed, organized, and enjoyable experience for every client.
When you choose Leppert Photography, you're choosing people who genuinely care about making your experience as memorable as the photographs themselves.
A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME
• I'm an identical twin.
• I've been married to my wonderful husband, Jimmy, for more than 20 years, and together we're raising our sweet daughter, Samantha.
• Home wouldn't be the same without our two spoiled four-legged companions, BeeBee and Mr. Tater Tot.
• I love working out, long lunches with family and friends, and making memories with the people I love most.
• I also have a slightly unusual talent for remembering names and dates!
THANK YOU
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
Photography has given me the privilege of celebrating alongside so many wonderful people over the years, and I never take that trust for granted.
Whether I'm photographing your wedding day, your family, your senior portrait, or another important milestone, it would truly be an honor to tell your story and create photographs you'll treasure for generations.
I can't wait to meet you!
